Mind-field Training inc (The South West School of Clinical Hypnotherapy) is a professional organisation which specialises in providing quality courses in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Personal Development training and CPD in the U.K.

The school is fully accredited and validated by The General Hypnotherapy Register, a Verifying Organisation (VO) within the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (which does hold an Accredited Voluntary Register under the Professional Standards Authority scheme), wherein we are tasked with verifying the eligibility of applicant practitioners for access to the CNHC’s Accredited Register.
The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (“PSA”) is an independent body which is accountable to Parliament. The PSA is responsible for overseeing the UK’s nine health and social care regulatory bodies, such as the General Medical Council, Nursing & Midwifery Council, and Health & Care Professions Council.
This accreditation means that our courses meet with the required National Standards Study criteria and the National Occupational Standards in Hypnotherapy.
Our courses offer structured, blended, creative learning, maintaining a natural balance between theoretical and practical study.
Blended learning consists of: Online tuition; Classroom based Practical skill application; Home study and Conducting Case studies, plus tutor tutorials and Assessments.
Course Outline: Foundation level (part 1 of diploma)
110 hours of learning time (includes 40 hours direct tuition, One tutorial with a course tutor, Completion of a Professional Learning Log; One course assignment and three case studies)
Course Outline: Diploma Practitioner Level
280 hours of learning (including 120 direct learning online and classroom based; 2 Tutorials with a course tutor; 4 Course assignments; Professional Learning Log;
8 Case studies and 1 formal supervised practical assessment)
Assessment Criteria
- 8 case studies of between 3000 – 5000 words each to include Harvard referencing
- 2 essays of 1000 words
- 1 question & answer document for self -reflection
- 1 Work book to complete for goal outcomes
- 1 formal supervised practical assessment
- Ongoing practical assessment (peer / tutor led / Reflection)
- 2 Tutorials with a course tutor
